Come See the World ... according to Max

Wanna' go for a walk?  Let's go for a walk.  Do you want to go with me for a walk?  Can we go for a walk now?  Should we go for a walk?  Have you been for a walk today?

Did you guess I like to go for a walk?  One of my favorite walks is down by the harbor.  We do this walk almost every week 'cause it's right by the airport and we have to go there to pick up my Dad.  He travels a lot.. 

 

 

Here we are at the harbor.  You can see downtown in the background.  It's usually a little windy here and there's no beach.  But there are lots of big rocks.   Mom says we're not supposed to play by them. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I like to look out at the water.  You can see the best if you get really, really close to the rocks..

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

See.  If you get really close and be very careful you can see the water splashing up against the rocks.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I need to get a good look at the water, I need to get just a few steps closer down here.  Yup, I think this is good.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Heh heh.  OK Mom, I was just kidding.  I know not to go down there.

See the bird?  I see the bird.  I wanna "play" with the bird.  Please, Mom, let me go play with the bird.  I wanna go see the bird.  Uh oh ...

 

 

 

 

 

There goes the bird.  Sigh.  I'll stay alert and maybe see another one.  Mom will probably let me play with the next one.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Well, no sense looking around for birds.  Mom says my history of  "playing" with birds hasn't turned out very well for the birds, so I need to find something else to look for.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Yeah, I found the perfect thing!  Aunt Jerry is here to pet me.  Who cares about the birds?
