A Dog's Domain

This is my yard.  I can go out there any time I want because I have my very own door.  I don't have to ask Mom or Dad to let me out.  It's very cool.   Once in a while there are some problems like when that black & white "kitty" was in the yard and I chased it around and then the yard (and especially me) didn't smell so good.  Mom wasn't too upset, the first time.  But the second time it happened at 1 am and Mom wasn't happy.  She got up and came downstairs to wash me several times with her special formula.  I smelled pretty good, but we didn't get back to bed until after 3 am.  The next morning we had the big discussion about the dangers of the black and white "kitty" and my responsibilities.

Here I am out for my morning stroll.  It's important to get out and be sure there were no intruders during the night.  Sometimes those crazy rabbits sneak in.  If I see them, I escort them right out.

This is my new snack tree.  It's blooming right now and getting ready to start growing my snacks.  I told Mom I would share the nectarines with her because she shares bananas with me.

But for now, I have biscuits for snack.  I'm having one right now.

Can you see my biscuit?  It's almost gone now..

Biscuits always make me thirsty, so I'm happy to have this giant water bowl.

After snack and something to drink, what should I do now?

I know!  I'll take a little dip in the pool.  I'm a really good swimmer.

Hi Dad!  I came in to swim with you.
